I will also occasionally write posts that bring in other news sources; the goal of this blog is to provide context for the news for people who are new to reading it — context that is as concise and focused as I can make it. The annotation is in red, the original text (usually from Axios.com) is in black.  The annotation is there to provide context and background for you to understand the story.
